Gala Dinner, Cannes Film Festival
The 27th annual amfAR Gala Cannes was held at The Villa Eilenroc for the first time ever. We were influenced by the archives of 1920’s riviera photographes as well as the rich history of the Villa’s Belle Époque roaring parties which saw the likes of F.Scott Fitzgerald, Greta Garbo, Aga Khan’s and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and notably the filming of Magic in the Moonlight. We created a palette of light greys, cream and touches of green, The red carpet was followed by a cocktail and a night under the summer stars to bring back the glitz and glamour of a bygone era. A special performance by Alicia Keys and fashion show curated by Carine Roitfeld ‘ I want to be a movie star!” had guests out of their seats.
